There are a lot of parks, a pretty good arts community, good restaurants, and many beautiful homes and neighborhoods.

we're rehabbing our 2nd house and it's in a rapidly changing n'hood (for the better) I would like to attract the new tenants that are starting to move into the area (it's close to all the cool restaurants/bars that are opening up). shouldn't I include some of things they would find in some of the better apartments nearby?

Too often, we hear how they invested in a restaurant chain or a waterpark, or had a business manager rob them blind.

We just turn waste vege oil from restaurants into biodiesel on a small scale, but it's been quite the experience!

I am receiving 1% on all purchased and they always have 5% incentives on gas, Home Depot, restaurants, etc. 

I would tell her it's not different than the gas prices going up or food prices going up at a restaurant. 

Property 2 is in a very solid, retail part of the city, and number 1 is in a more residential area, but two blocks from police, gas station, laundry, newer restaurants, etc.

Not sure how much I've spent at tasty restaurants over the last 5 years, but it is A LOT!!!!
