Important you consult  your accountant,  but it's my understanding you use the Heloc strictly for the investment & do not mix personal use with the investment use so the interest is tax deductible. 

I've read a few posts on "wholesaling" and now I'm having mixed feelings about it.

I did research and found various mixed answers to this question.

Lastly, don't drink too much of the Kool-aid, and get your brokerage license sooner than later.

Knowing what I know now and going forward I like a mix .. use the multis for the great cashflow and buy the cheap houses up and offer them “ rent to own “ or owner finance .

Another nightmarish circumstance to throw in the mix is that the woman that lives there doesn’t even pay her own rent.

Think about ways to mix things up.
