Thanks Adam .This is great .Will do what both you and John suggested .I am hoping the bank uses a third party appraiser.I assume there would be laws against them using an “in house “ appraiser..I just know they’re not going to want to gibe up getting that $250 a month from us ( PMI).Much appreciated -Christian

This does not mean your investment is insured.We often hear comments like, "We invested with XYZ because their fund / syndication is FDIC insured," (nope no its not...).To avoid these kinds of mistakes, I strongly recommend you always have an attorney review the Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) with you.

What you are asking is how can I get around not doing correct due diligence on the property and the answer is you can't and should not because that isn't fair to the rest of the development who bought there understanding the rules.
