I think my yearly costs are $1200 or so which is maybe the commission representing one side of an average sale here. 

In addition to the church and school buildings, one of the SFR's on my side of the street is used as the church Rectory (where the priest lives).

I didn't think it would be difficult to get everyone out, but there were 4 people living on one side all of whom I had to get out separately. 

@Cody James Cressey, the question from this side of the pond is "on what tax return is that property being reported on"? 

That said, if I had been as financially educated then as I am now, I would have at least considered taking in a roommate, or “house hacking” in a duplex while living in one side.
