(not sure about NC's laws but in MA you need a supervisors license) If you do take the GC I highly recommend hiring an architect that will design your space, as well as an engineer if you are tearing down walls.

@Ash Patel  It's very common to go shopping and even go into contract on your replacement properties before you close on your sales.

After a while, i was contracted to start going into repossessed homes and doing inside pics along with adding my opinion to what may need repairing/replaced.

In the 90's in CA there were offers of $40,000 for singlewides that were worth less than $10,000 then were then pulled out and replaced with doublewides (worth about $40,000) that were then rented at substantially higher rates.

Then you talk to another mechanic he suggests you learn the theory of engines and car parts, how and why they work.

Had to replace Windows this year for $5k.  

I negotiated it and we agreed on $20,000 cash because the shingle roofing was older that 14 years so it needed to be replaced entirely.  

The last one gave me a list of the things he replaced or replaced (for my information) but never called about them, etc.   

The domain name is important but if you want people to find your company using a search such as Google, your time would be better spent looking into SEO (search engine optimization).
