As I grow, I see this being more work than the current 19 checking accounts and bank reconciliations already are!

Real estate investing isn't something i'm doing as a serious form of income generation right now, but I'll be slowly growing my portfolio as we travel around.  

I'd ask local investors and investor-friendly agents for contractor recommendations to make sure you get someone reputable.I think the BRRRR is a solid strategy to grow your portfolio and build wealth over time.Lastly, J.

The wealth of knowledge than can be obtained is incredible and I am happy to have stumbled across BP and more importantly this NJ sub forum.A little bit about myself - I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit growing up (started a small landscaping company in HS to get me through college), however, I fell into the trap of "you need to get a good degree, then a good job, with a good company."  

Which is a very competitive market, but is also one of the fastest growing metro areas in the Midwest.

I haven't seen the inside but the outside is weathered, weeds growing, neighbors say inside is in bad shape.

I had about 30 million in credit lines for my hard money company 8 with them and they were the only ones who kept my line every other one called them.. so we were put out of business and this bank lowered it to 4 million but I was just happy to have enough to make a living when things got so bad.. so that's my long winded story.. is there potential to grow then whats 24k its a drop in the bucket in the larger picture.

@Aaron Bruck,If you are trying to grow a business for the long term, finding a partner/ mentor would be a good idea.

You need to figure out your community, if there are a lot of growing families, 2 and 3 bed units will be more attractive.
