Yes, pay less and increase rent seems to be the solution or house hack so that won't work for me.I do not find anywhere that says it is already rented.

Seems like a really simple solution but can’t you just add it to the security deposit or is there a rule about that also?

This is a concern with several of the electronic payment services..... they don't allow you to block someone or block partial payments etc.I don't use pay pal for rent, but i'm interested to see if you find a solution, since its not unique to PP alone

I realize there's not a simple / easy answer that is a one-size fits all solution - but I appreciate your feedback.
