Once you hit that number you are now free from the rat race.

Of course the guy is being a horses rear end but he may have a legal point.

I've had jobs that pay more and jobs that pay less and as cliché as it may sound that Rat Race is all too real.

Prioritize guest experience over getting stuck in a race to the bottom with pricing.  

So I bought it, I put a 'for rent' ad in craigslist, found a blank lease on google, and I was off to the races.  

I left school virtually debt-free, kept my initial expenses low, and would have been in a perfect position to get out of the rat race in practically no time.
