I have been listening to the podcast and fishing around the site for awhile and have learned that the best way to make myself useful and build a network is to contribute data  that is useful and relevant to people that I find on the Web.

I've been very successful in the call center/inside sales environment and at this point in time I'm transitioning to more of an outside sales role and looking to organically grow my network and meet more real estate/mortgage professionals in the area.

Contractors will not come out if they assume that your fishing for a quote and not ready to cut a check if terms are agreed upon.

Sounds good  or how about becoming a real estate agent to get to know the environment ?

Going to a bigger apartment deal (assuming in CO) are trading at such low cap rates and in a raising rate environment isn't that attractive to me.

I'm sure there is verbiage in the lease around maintaining a safe environment.  

There is an easement for a lake front area that is owned by one of two other houses/properties at the end there (they have easement road to reach their property on this property), where you can fish, canoe, etc., with a couple of small docks.

they are just as well built as any site built home, so I would argue that they are actually better quality because they are built in a temperature controlled environment. 

I've only run into a few investors over the years and they tend to be very secretive, like they're hiding their favorite fishing spot.Thanks for the advice, though!
