Hey Varouj, I have looked into them and for me (2 properties / 7 doors) it didn't seem to make sense. 

I would probably post a notice on the door in case someone comes back and after 10 days assume nobody will.

Nothing about this type of job would not require permitting in the long run when you are doing below-grade bathroom additions.

I'm assuming that this leaves the door open to negotiating a new rental rate and annual escalation?

I primarily focus on running the numbers as an LTR because, short of selling, that's my ultimate exit strategy.
