In my opinion, the more tasks a tenant handles the better it is for me as the manager. 

Bonus points if it can help you manage cleaning tasks for any staff you have.Also after one or two properties you'll want to find a way to automate the setup and deletion of Smart Lock codes. 

I assume even with this software I would need someone who would be willing to take care of other tasks that might require more effort and provide potential assistance to renters.

Have you been able to start on your house hacking adventure? 

It is no easy task acting as your own GC if you don’t have experience, that said, I did my first that way and learned a ton, and although I made a great profit on my first, I did so in a market I really could not lose in at that time.If you go as your own GC, make sure you learn all the ropes from building and safety as far as what they require and what they need from you, make sure you have a real estate attorney go over all your sub contractor agreements and make sure you hire licensed subs.

When it comes to learning yourself it takes both time and money to do so, however if you hire it out to someone who is a professional that's one less task you have to focus while you focus on other Income Producing Activities...
