Hey guys,Question for you, I have a duplex In NJ that had 1 oil heating unit for both units so I payed for heat.

@Alex Wynn have you thought about what kind of heating and cooling you'd like in your units?  

Advice worth what u pay for it of course :)You mention closets but there is only one not very illuminating photo, cleanly more feel for the size of the bedroom, if your buyer is first time in a house maybe stress that everything has been done so no maintenance or worries (wiring, heating system, roof) let them know it has all been done.

I have some rental and commercial properties in upstate NY and curious to know if May 1st is the date to shut off heat legally?

I showed an old home yesterday that had electric heating and electric stove. 

Since you already have the electric heat, you can get one a bit less cost as A/C only model, or get one with a heat pump added and then it's all-in-one.From there, just eliminate the venting to the bottom unit, so it's all on their electric feed.

It's different all around the country and it differs based on insulation, age of the home, type of heat, weather, time of year, occupants, and other factors.

The roof was original and the water heated was leaking into the subfloor, but those were the main issues.

@Allen Tracy do you by chance know the original post of who created this heat map?
