We are looking to purchase 1 property every 1-2 years in the Three Bays Area (Cotuit, Marstons Mills, Osterville).

The local installer can typically give his assessment upfront based on the parameters of the location including financing options (e.g. lease, power purchase agreement)In the SF bay area if your bill is over $100/mo. than solar begins to make sense given enough unshaded roof area.

Rich maybe ,, and certainly if you played in the SF Bay Area at the right time....

In the very least it would allow you to lower your monthly living expenses and save more for the next purchase.I'm originally from Green Bay so that is where I decided to invest.

I have a few years experience here in the Bay Area.

Once again this is in the Bay Area, LA may be a bit less but I don’t imagine much less.

In the bay area, where we live now, San Francisco rents and prices exploded, which overflowed into an Oakland renaissance.

I agree that San Jose is over-priced, but because of the geography of the San Francisco Bay Area with the hills and water - land is limited.
