If you get a good home inspector you would be wasting your money paying for a second home inspection.

Unless they are helping you evaluate a property as a courtesy, which some will do on occasion, most lenders don't want to waste time looking at deals that you don't have in contract that you might not get anyway.

dont go alum. it has the cool factor, but the normal shingles have "lifetime" warranty anyway. that's normally ~50 yrs.it would be a waste going with something else
