THAT SAID... because the money printer goes BRRRRR, I would not be surprised if section 8 does incredibly well because the government will quickly pay those bills with all these UBI talks going on! 

I would love to know what FHA loan requirements lenders are asking for currently (i.e. what credit score, debt to income, when is the employment verification done).

Thats my take on it at leastROI’s are pretty solid and there is (in my opinion) plenty of inventory.But be ware of neighborhoods, East Cleveland is pretty rough for example.When i first explored the market i saw all this incredibly cheap inventory which was in pretty good shape mostly but in parts where it would be a landlord/property management nightmare

Is there any advice on how to improve my currently non-existent credit score in order to secure a mortgage and what to look for in properties to house hack besides the fact that it should be a multi-family home? 

What it comes down to for me is that I see an incredible future for Baltimore.

It's incredibly easy when you live next door and much harder, in my experience, when you don't.

Improving a credit score is another key component and you're tackling that as well. 

Interest rates are incredibly low now, but we could run into anything going forward when we have so much debt.

It's going to look incredibly odd- This is why I was saying check with a lender.

I'm purchasing it through a newly created LLC, so my personal credit score is a factor.
