Or leverage that if it is...ask AirBnb if that is what they would do without telling them who it is...and then tell this landlord that if you don't get your deposit back by X date, you are going to fill AirBnb in on the scam this landlord is doing to scam AirBnb out of their cut.

This is not to say you can't get a great deal and sell for a profit and still be at or very near a market value that will appraise out.Selling a house for more money is simply a scam and in the end the property must appraise out for the buyer to refinance and if you suckered your buyer the chances of refinancing dropped.

You wont need a license, good credit, or even money to start wholesaling real estate yourself, the common misconception is that is to good to be true and sounds like a scam.
