That property didnt require any work but I did remodel 1 bathroom and added forced air heating. 

Does anybody know of a good general renovation/remodel book for someone who know nothing about renovating/remodeling?

You want to be able to build equity on a remodel.

Now that I have taken the biggest step, I am a little anxious about the remodeling part - the house will need new bathrooms, new kitchen, new flooring, minor roof work and minor foundation work. 

I’m in the middle of a remodel, so not purchasing at the moment.  

I would be interested in full gut to a nice remodel, maybe raise the ceilings a bit but what do i know.Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

If you are remodeling, you want to find the value of those sold most recently that are also remodeled.

If you get into an arrangement where you start paying for things like remodeling or other capex, you guys are going to have to come to an arrangement.
