If you have a $200k house that rents for $1k that's a .5 ratio.I look for a 1% as my cap on good areas, then require better as I move further from a good area.

A town that really wants to, can make you tear the entire kitchen to pieces to check the plumbing and electrical for things like fire stop, nail plates, proper sizing, pitch, etc... personally I wouldn't risk it.Have you made any calls into the town to ask their process.
