The tenant's argument that he's "too tired" to fight this legal battle holds no water, as establishing residency is incredibly easy if you are actually living somewhere.I also think the landlord made some missteps in their process.

You also risk having the property appraised higher than what it currently is even if you bring the complaint, and yes this did happen to a client of mine.There are local attorneys that fight these valuations and their fee is based on how much they get the value reduced, I don't have any direct recommendations but I think a quick google search should give you a few leads.

@Nicholas L.You are competing in a very competitive field and part-time won't cut it.Investor's who are giving over hard earned money would rather give it to someone who is fighting for the money full-time instead of part-time.If you want to invest your own money or friends/family part time and they are okay with it.
