Owning a home makes them feel secure, not just with their belongings and other valuable possessions, but with their lives as well.

It never hurts to just talk to one (that understands real estate investing) to get a feel on if they are a salesman or if they are someone you could have a drink with.

Safe to say, I think I've matured enough that I'm ready to drink the Kool-Aid. :)I've always been pretty frugal and invested heavily, especially for my age.

If the place is vacant i.e. no personal belongings, no sign of anyone being there then you may have lucked up and can take possession....but again check local law.

I think everyone has dreams of sitting on a beach drinking Mia Tais or living in a white house with a picket fence without a care in the world.

No matter if this is an upper/lower or a side by side there is a portion of the pipe that only belongs to one of the units. 

The member is still paid by DOD but belongs to the program. 

Regardless of who is what, the easiest procedure moving forward is an eviction of everyone that doesn't belong, so everyone has to go regardless and we're not getting involved in the drama between tenants.
