I don't lean, but my house do...

...off the hill with the mean view!

Wasn't sure where to post this as it has to do with structural integrity of properties. I'm in the midst of my first house hack with a 2 family house. It's an old house, 1830 (not really with a mean view, but you can hear and kinda see a waterfall). The 3 BR side I'm living on has a decent lean to it, especially in the kitchen and the 2 BR on second floor. My inspector (who was the best I've experienced out of 2 previous inspector companies) didn't have concerns and attributed the lean to house settlement (it is on a hill) and to just keep an eye on down the road. Everything checked out structurally during inspection.

Has anyone had a structural contractor come to a property for an assessment for piece of mind? I've heard that it's expensive. Seeking anyone with first hand experience and how it went, ROI?

(If you happen to know what the title and first line of this post is from (without Googling...I know, how will I know?), I'll buy you a drink.)

All the best,
