If I'm not mistaken I have the right to call the internet company to remove the wiring and patch up the hole they made into my kitchen and if I am charged I can take it out of the security deposit.

Pissed off you have no choice but to pay for 2/3 of the cost.A month later, this Frankenstein'd 17 yr old machine dies out again and the insurance company wants another $99 deposit to come take a look at it a second time.  

It's always shady when people say you don't need to:)  If you don't trust them you'll want to have your deposit go to an escrow not to them:)

Hello Gurus - I have a question on 1031 exchanges related to the Due Diligence deposit for a relinquished property.

An unusual tenant may find gardening therapeutic, but by far the majority find investing time and money in lawn, shrubs and flower beds the same way they would feel about depositing $100 into your 401K every month. 

That is important because it allows you to see for yourself if the answers you heard match what you see on the ground.
