I'd suggest Zillow, Trulia and Hotpads (they will often have the same ads if a landlord has posted through postlets).Be careful when looking for rental properties through Craigslist; it often has a higher percentage of scammers (people who steal others ads and offer these at lower rates).

I don't have the money yet for a down payment but I still want to be underwriting deals to help increase the odds of me finding the steal deal and get more efficient at doing so and understand the process more so.
