That POS Realtor was long gone and made their $10k in commission.....but we were stuck with picking up all the pieces - finishing their job - and having to coach an owner into reality. 2) The average Realtor has no idea how rental property pricing works, what attracts tenants, how to screen tenants, and how to sell investment properties.

@Kevin Ely I'm in Cleveland but work on the other side of town so don't have a lot of current knowledge of Warrensville Hts - I know it as solid blue collar neighborhoods but you need to screen well.....

I talk to all the neighbors during the renovation, do a lot of tenant screening, inspect every month or two, and rent to people I can build a rapport with.
