Whats going on guys,I am leaving the military this year and before I leave the area of Great Lakes, Il I want to buy a duplex or triplex somewhere in the next 6-8 months.

They want to be in or near Lake Forest because they have two kids in elementary school.

There is a lot of open land compared to Bergen, too, so you get more property, a lot of the towns have hiking trails and lakes, so it's a more rural feel (by no means rural... they have stores and supermarkets everywhere, but just relatively) and slower pace, so a spec house actually may do well up there if you can find the right property.

They are anticipating it will become the center of a lifestyle in the southwest side of the Salt Lake Valley.

There are a lot of  big multi family properties there, crime is  alot lower than surrounding areas, suburbia inside the city, and lake front.

Let's start with a downtown LOL ... 3 professional sports teams, being on a great lake, much better architecture, much better hospitals, etc. etc.

On a side note I just noticed you are From Lake Oswego.
