I would just have to finish it, including painting it, adding some flooring, a lot of fixtures (toilets, vanities etc.), and put in a kitchen - I'm guessing about $100K to do it right.The asking price is around $300K.

I recently gutted an entire house which included new drywall, texture, paint, doors, windows, cabinets, granite counter tops, vanities, flooring, fixtures, and appliances as well as restructuring an exterior wall with two sliding glass doors which was all done for $34K.If this is a high-end property, then I believe your estimate may be correct.

We do, however rent out our home and live in a travel trailer in the mountains. [ I sit on the deck every morning with my cup of coffee as I "visit" with the deer.We have had 2 sets of tenants.

My home received an overhaul, including: new roof, full painting (interior/exterior), all new countertops in kitchen and 2 bathrooms, all new hardware and fixtures (knobs, handles, faucets), brand new cabinet door refacing.

I've attached some pictures where you can see the condition of the walls and ceilings.In addition to the estimate on the first post, I was also quoted:$21,800 for the bathroom (in the last picture) which does not include fixtures, vanity, shower, toilet, tiles.
