Or you could rip a short piece of flat trim to the thickness you can allow and do a similar treatment.BTW, Allure is a great flooring choice if you haven't put it in yet.

I would stay away from this method in most cases.If you want to buy the property, you will need the sellers cooperation and complete a short sale with their lender.
