Just pay your GC to fit in a new one and patch the drywall when complete.As you mentioned, this is a tiny detail...it's good to keep an eye on costs, but not good to nit pick every last dollar spent.

When I mentioned upgrading the entire house, my electrician rolled his eyes and wanted to know why I would do that if it was a flip.The original 1930 wires may have metal in the wires, I will have to check.

Seller, I understand that, Your certainly not alone there, I’ve noticed that a fair amount of people are apprehensive to sell their house at first but what they have found is that there are more options than what meets the eye, if you know what I mean.
