They could be blowing smoke or telling the truth.

Do you know how many smoke detectors are needed, where, and how often they legally have to be checked? 

Lets hear real life stories here people... don't just be blowing smoke lol. 

The beauty of BP is all of the smoke and mirrors are burned away in the sunlight. 

It is very easy for people to push horror stories and say that short term tenants are going to disrupt the neighborhood with noise, traffic, parties and god forbid smoking weed.

This covers any smoking plus it voids their security deposit if they are good payers but I catch them smoking anyways. 

I had to terminate a lease 3 months ago because of smoking-- if it was a full eviction it would have taken months and additional court costs/lost rent.   

Since we live in the SpaceCoast, my husband has an explanation that is fitting: like a launch sitting on the pad, there is a lot of shaking going on, smoke is pouring out, and for some time the rocket just sits there. 

I have seen my fair share of those with a "smoke in mirrors" business while in business school and can't agree with you more on that.  

I have had long distance investors say that their house wont rent and then you look at the photos and they are terrible, bad angles, dark, etc.
