In the Great Recession we converted these units to LTR in the school year and STR only in the summer.  

I just dove right in but at the time, I had just found out that I would be going back to grad school as a full-time student from August 2017 to October 2019.

The house sits on a corner lot close to the high school in my town, so it is a great location.

Also, many of them are still occupied (40-80%) with students even though UofSC is not in school.

It may be safe to assume that even if a large number of people come down with the virus, and even if social distancing in 2020 makes remote work and online schooling more widespread, the kids will still attend college on campus far into the foreseeable future (online classes don't match in-person instruction perfectly, and the social benefits of campus life can make or break careers, too).

My kids are still both under 5 so we still have time before settle down on a certain school zone but we do want to stick to certain area close to hubby’s work. 

Also consider school districts.

Both,  Spring break is being extended at alot of schools and universities. 

The forums and podcast have been go-to for me lately, so thanks for that info.I plan to focus on the East Penn school district, and find deals to rehab, buy and hold.
