Therefore, the seniors have to rely on assistance from the government.Animals do not have the ability to plan their financial future, (sane) adults do, but the entitlement mentality has already passed onto Gen Y (my generation), which is truly a sad state of affairs.Although I know nothing about politics and don't really follow it, i think its interesting to scroll through facebook and see my high school or college friends who aren't doing well financially, and might I add always blame others for their troubles, are overwhelmingly promoting and peddling Bernie Sanders.

I was looking into a property in Albany, NY that has apparently housed college students from near by colleges for some time now.

Roommate that does not meet criteria is a recent college grad with little credit and not enough income to support income/credit criteria at this time and offered his parents to co-sign. 

Setting aside the physician-specific things, I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen a current full time college student qualify for a normal mortgage, excluding those times they were married to a spouse (or otherwise had a coborrower) with income.Good luck.

I'm starting to get antsy, and I'm starting to tell my wife over and over again, How much I HATE working for a SET WAGE making other people rich.That being said, I feel I'm a pretty smart guy, went to college at 17, there I earned my Associates Degree, chasing a vision of helping people with addiction and crisis by working in Psychology.

I graduated college and landed a $100k+ per year position right out of the gate and had been planning my real estate empire for a couple years at that point. 

Sorry for the delayed reply @The only special thing about this home is location and convenience to campus, it's only a 2 min drive from campus, 5-10 min bike ride, neighborhood is decent with other college rentals.

2016- Pay off Truck (COMPLETED)2017- Max out ROTH IRA & build bank roll for first property/Reserves (ON TRACK)         - Attend first RE Meetup (COMPLETE)         - Make offer on a property (COMPLETE, but didn't get accepted)         - Read 2-3 RE books per month and listen to podcasts (ON TRACK).2018- Transition out of the Marine Corps         - Have at least $20K cash to purchase first property         - Transfer to Community College using GI BILL, get my 60 credits, apply to UCLA w/GI BILL.2019- Have my first property using the househacking method
