There's always a few that don't and chance it starting when the weather gets cold, but I distinctly remember my first rental place when I was 18 not having a place to plug in my old car - never again would I want to repeat that winter.

If I were to start over, I would just buy a duplex and house-hack in a city with a lot of growth potential and great weather :)Hope this helps.

I understand why as its all the same reasons I moved here three years ago - mild weather (for FL anyway), still more affordable than south FL, gorgeous beaches, bustling economy, huge growth, tons of diversity.

I am willing to have emergency service it it is warranted, especially with this cold weather.

I've read that stucco/frame houses need extra maintenance because of weather and termites.
