Hey guys,I would like some advice/ideas on how to turn around a property I acquired online or how to get rid of it (if it's not worth the trouble).Being prior military I was familiar with Fort gordon, GA (city of Augusta) and received a notice that the VA was getting rid of several properties that it had foreclosed on.

Assuming you bought distressed or at a great value turn-key, you should be able to make a nice profit and always do so as a 1031 exchange so that you buy more properties and increase your cash flow and equity.Liquidate Through 1031 Exchange Every 5-7 Years: Owning for 30 years while the house increases in deferred maintenance, the neighborhood may go down in quality or desirability are not good ideas.

My question is if anyone has any ideas on how to afford that.

Looking for some other investors, experienced or not, in the Denver area to bounce ideas and thoughts off each other.

So in this case, would it be a good idea to check the property out, make a reasonable offer and If accepted, put it under contract, do the inspection and see what the results are, correct?

What I feel I need is a mentor that's based out of NY to bounce ideas from and soak up some knowledge.

This is a very interesting idea.  

While some good ideas are out there, there is a lot of bad information, schemes and ponzi games, to know which is which you'll need a finance attorney.

But otherwise I think it is a very good idea: if I do not come access my first deal soon,  i am thinking to partner with someone and use wholesaler for my first deal.
