Whether it is real estate or stocks, I like to keep my powder dry and like to make large investments when there is blood in the streets in the equities market like February 2002, and March 2009 or Atlanta's real estate market in 2012 when equities and real estate prices were trading hands at 1996 prices.

Bath rooms and kitchen are the most complex and costliest rooms to remodel because of all the trades and finish options involved.my suggestion ask around for references on a few general contractors talk to a few and get their opinions and a few prices sorry for the rambling post good luck

Run away from this.What I would do is try to get a job either in the trades or a real estate office and just soak in everything you can.Starting this early in life with REI is a great thing.

It can either be schedule C (Form 1040) as income from a trade or business or Line 21 (Form 1040) as other income.

The end result may be effectively the same, but if there are any issues it's much cleaner to be dealing with the individual transaction that was a problem than the trading between multiple transactions.
