Would I open an LLC in the state I am investing in or the state in which I reside?

I currently own my primary residence (condo) and one rental property (condo), and I am looking for a multifamily property as my next purchase.

I figured this would be a good time to ask what everyone else does to make showings go well as smell welcoming to perspective residents.

Instead of having to file interest income yearly, (next year I may be a non-resident alien, may not be going back to USA), would like pay and to report all gains and interests for tax year 2017.

This specific home was built in 1887, in the city of chicago.I just pulled the permit history, the only permit issued it seems was for an “emergency wreck, and remove a 2 story frame residence.”

Hello everyone, I am looking to start an llc in Alabama but I resides in California, is there a way I can start an llc without a physical business address in Alabama?

We are willing to put in the offer, but just reaching out for any advice for or against dong so, and also what do you think overall, is it worth getting involved with that inside knowledge from the current resident?
