You're entire rant here, reminds me of when the workers at McDonalds were protesting, and this person came on saying they've been flipping burgers for 10+yrs, didn't want a promotion, just wanted to keep doing what they do, flipping burgers, BUT, they "needed" it to be "fair" pay, so they could buy a home, a new car, go on vacations, have the life they want, but, flipping burgers.....

If you are going to use the checks for a down payment just make sure you have a plan what you will do when the promotional rate expires.I have 10 business credit cards and the only one that offered any kind of promotion on convenience checks was Discover Business.
