First and foremost, it's important to note that there is really no single right answer for your marketing decisions, because each of your decisions can only be made relative to YOUR unique objectives.  

Nobody can answer that question for you - there are upsides and downsides to owning either type of property - it's simply a matter of which one best meets your objectives.

No one has ever objected but no one has ever thanked me or said they appreciate the rent only going up when the property taxes went up.
