Cooking?

Currently all units are ~$50-75 below market in the zip code with water, hot water, gas heat/cooking included.Monthly gas is ~$300/month year round (higher in Winter of course, etc) and the current gas boiler/heater is 20 years old and the longest tenured tenant told me that it was on recently after a circuit breaker trip and it had to be turned off manually at the unit.

Food for thought.

In my opinion, it is one of the biggest oversights of the land lord tenant ordinances in Chicago and also in Cook County.

@Greg Cook, if you are purchasing a property that is functional but dated even with a low purchase price you could likely get a loan.

The need has been brought forward that they would like "home cooked meals" and my mother happens to love cooking.
