Hello GeorgeI wish I could see your project to give you a better idea,,,plumbing jobs are like people ,,,no 2 are alike,,,Moving or disturbing original drains and water lines can be tricky, you must proceed with caution like a surgery,,,,no place for amateursYou also want to consult an experienced tilesetter for the creation or altering of a shower pan,,,,they must be perfect and sound,,,,If your going to go that far I strongly suggest upgrading to a Moen shower valve with integral shutoffsI would consult a family owned plumbing company with good refferals from a local supply house.Having said that ,msot of these folks want to supply there own materials and do a "turn key " installation.Interview them on the phone and have them over to give you na accurate price quote for the comp[lete job. This way you both know how long and how much.It also gives you a chance to say yes or no ,,,yay or nay. This is how I conduct my business and I havent found a better way.Everyones on the same page,,,,Hope that helpsDD
