Having a great OnSite manager is like finding gold!

They own multiple rentals in the area... from my research it looks like maybe 15 properties total.

We learned a valuable lesson and I'm sure the first guy did to, do your research and take your time knowing what you have before you wholesale.

So I was researching around at different real estate agents to list the property and found one just yesterday, and when I called my Property Manager he was very upset (he has been the property manager for the whole time I have owned it, 9 years) and kept saying "Why don't you give me/my broker" a chance??  

I found BiggerPockets researching ways to make additional income so that I might be able to afford the house that I am renting now.

Keep absorbing, researching, and you’ll find what path works best for you and your wife!

I'm in the process of hunting for my first investment property - I'm in talks with a realtor who has basically said to let him know what properties interest me and we can do more research from there (ironing out the costs I'm going to be looking at if I were to purchase the property).

Reason being I've done my research with a company called Bildwise.

I'm not trying to discourage you from filing a legitimate complaint, but I've had people confidently tell me that their property manager doesn't have a license, only to do more research and find out that they WORK UNDER a licensed broker. 

I came across Big Pockets while doing research and saw an article listed with so many useful tips that I never thought about.
