@Jo Zhou    I think the problem the PM is concerned about is the fact that they have told the potential tenant that they met the criteria to rent the apartment. 

As we come closer and closer to a closing date, we are beginning to have some concerns and fears since this is our first real estate investment.

Being on the back side of life allows you to not be concerned about your cash since you have no use or need for the money.

If you plan on self managing that is going to keep you extremely busy.  

I'm concerned that it's a scammer posing as a legit company.

The thing that I am concerned about is that my friend said that I would have to jack the center beam of the house up, put in new footers and 5 new FHA posts to support the house because of the settling. 

I will not waste my time on an open house with curious neighbors, bored realtors and competing landlords.I am not afraid to adjust my asking price if I am concerned about losing out on a month's rent.I never follow up with a tenant- I don't want to shoe horn someone into one of my units and I don't adjust my standards, practices and rules.I have nice places, but even still- when a potential tenant shows up and they have to wait to be shown the unit because of others in line, it does something magical.Best of luck.

Although these are some of the issues expected when a full renovation and construction is happening right next door to an attached house; it is an extreme inconvenience to a family who recently moved in.We are trying to speak with the workers doing the work next door and trying to reach out to the owner / developer.

So my business partner and I started working on it and had some friends come over thinking it would get done faster, but they didn’t have any skin in the game so the care and concern painting, flooring, etc they had wasn’t the same as ours.
