Boarding Houses are under the Hotel Tax Rule and Regulations. 40 years ago I had to live in Boarding Houses or homes that had a few rooms to rent, for a few days to a week when I was off the ships or shipyards in Louisiana and Texas.

I would rent a STR there....I dislike staying in those huge hotels.
