I have always thought real estate would be a great investment and wish I'd started pursueing it earlier in life.

@Chris Masons Thank you for your welcome.I see you're based out of Union, I actually lived the first few years of my life in Union.Sounds like you've seen and done a lot in the multifamily space.

You combat vacancy by knowing your market; targeting the correct tenant population; insuring your units solve a problem in their life / facilitate their lifestyle; providing value for the rent dollar and managing leases.  

Ultimately I'm using real estate as a vehicle to achieve financial freedom for my family and allow me the time to do the things I enjoy in life like spending time with family, traveling, and helping other people.I'm originally from Cleveland, OH (GO CAVS!!

Pretty awesome idea @Jay Hinrichs I lived in central Indiana for the first 3 decades of my life. 30 minutes north of Indy is a fine area to catch the commuters that want to rent as customers.I still have friends and family in the area and based on your estimates I bet I could guess what city this is in but I'm not going to do that since you haven't stated it in the thread.Thank you for your contributions to this forum sir.

I stress all investors to have a website that will make your life a lot easier.

I have lived in Southern Oregon my whole life. 

Use this system with caution and pay only as job proceeds.Baltimore is a great  place to invest in properties, I have been here now all my life, (73 years) and have done well.
