I would imagine the difference between many Florida markets and Argentina is many Florida markets are transient and hospitality based.  

But I don't imagine keeping these properties for the full length of the mortgage.

At that high of a price point, I'd imagine some higher end finishes and touches throughout would be necessary.

Additional info: I imagine some questions may come up so Ill try and cover it all here to provide you with a better picture.I plan to get pre-approved for an FHA loan in 3-4 months. 

I imagine many beginner investors on here are looking to buy their first single family home in the $40K-$65K range.  

More or less, run....but not away from investing, but to resources at this site, proven local people who will talk for the price of lunch, or to the library (all the books in my "classics of landlord literature" blog post should be free at your library).

As I don't have a ton of money (or credit) to get started with traditional accumulation of properties so I can rent and landlord (which is what I'd like to eventually do) I've began to entertain the idea of wholesaling, as I imagine many people who are in my position arrive to.

Once you define your buying criteria (neighborhoods, property type, property condition, after-repair value, etc), it's hard to imagine you'll have 5000 people to mail each month until your business has become successful and expanded quite a bit.
