Another example is from David Greene's book where he talks about paying his agent $1,000 for any deal he does with a member of his agent's office or team, as a way to motivate his agent to market his criteria to other agents and have more people working to find him deals.Any feedback on any methods you use or ideas you think might work is appreciated.

Depends on how will be doing all the leg work and putting up the financing. are you experienced or is the new partner bringing the experience. if you are putting financing and leg work then I will go with a higher %. if everything is split evenly then you can go 50/50 on profit. please create operating agreement to avoid issues later down the road.

Such properties can be profitable, but it takes a special set of skills to manage the situations that will come up and potentially destroy your cash flow and/or the property.The strategy does not so much matter, rather than having a good team in place such as a very involved property manager with experience in class C/D properties.
