After some time and experience working together, I am sure that a good bookkeeper will be able to understand your system and improve it in ways that you would appreciate but perhaps not have thought of yourself.Having good software that you can operate yourself can be a huge help, but as you mentioned it still requires your time.

That's why I believe the best, most reliable resource in any market is the community of active investors/landlords/wholesalers operating within that market.When I need to get caught up on a new market, I search right here on BiggerPockets for members operating there and ask for their help.

I find that the market prices for risk/reward  or your in an area of functional or economic obsolescence.if its your home town and you can self manage and want to do it.. seems Ok to me.. as long as your going in with your eyes wide open.I have helped many a C class operator scale their operations..

Anyway, with the market place being hot right now and finding the right deals harder and harder has anyone had any luck with these types of operations.
