If I had a choice I would want to stay in Long Island, New York close to home but with house prices and the low inventory I do not see how that is possible.

If you have a bunch of sections where the pipe has collapsed or shifted, you may have no choice but to dig it up.

Unless you were specifically looking further north, I'd say anything south of Hooksett would be a better bet than Berlin. 

The pre-approval came from one of the builder's choice lenders, but private lending is more in line with my REI goals this year.
