Also if you don’t learn on to estimate cost yourself you will be taken advantage of by most Contractors I would suggest you take the time to learn “I know it’s not the easy way” and that way you will have a understanding of your real cost if you decide to rehab or self or hire a GC.

I'm willing to bet that your flooring contractor is charging per sq. foot which means he makes more money by doing it the easy way.I'll be doing a flooring job soon and the only place I will be putting the flooring underneath anything is in the bathroom where it will go under the toilet and vanity only because it would be virtually impossible to install the vinyl planks in the small spaces between them and the walls and the tub.

I noticed there are multiple doors that do not close properly without jamming including the front door which hopefully is not due to foundation shifting, our contractor said its more than likely just a build up of moisture filling up inside and all the wood expanding and warping.
