I will be a remote STR host and I will need somebody to keep the yard in good shape and shovel the (occasional) snow.My HUNCH is there must be some kind of Uber/Lyft/AIRBNB-style crowdsourcing platform for these kinds of services.

By Airbnb, I assume you mean short term rental because there are multiple platforms.

In addition I manage a super host short term rental across multiple platforms, I also manage my own long term rentals, I would target hosts in British Columbia which I know very well and especially go after the listings that I am a local to.

They are probably charging you a premium for using their platform.  

I see this as a great sign for the future of Airbnb if they are continuing to attract new guests to the platform. 

HI Bigger Pockets Family,Since I have become a member on this platform a lot has changed for the better.

I hired a team of cleaners to come in, and just manage the messaging from the various platforms (Airbnb & VRBO).

There are a few companies out there to claim they have the answer/software/platform etc but they are not up to snuff.

I'm not hearing investors talk about websites nearly as much as how to get leads via subscription platforms. 

Is there any lenders on this platform in the State of Ohio?
