Be pickier than you'd normally be, but it may take some trial and error to figure out how your criteria needs to change.

For me it's all been trial and error, finding good attorneys that have experience in M&A type stuff but are willing to talk to (In my case) smaller guys looking for hopeful creations of this stuff.
